A Record-breaking Centraide Campaign For Park Avenue Group

A Record-breaking Centraide Campaign For Park Avenue Group

For the 13th consecutive year, Groupe Park Avenue was honored to participate in the annual Centraide campaign, which took place from October 14 to 29. All of the Group's 21 car dealerships were mobilized to raise a substantial amount of $217,876. With the addition of 34 new Leaders within the company, Centraide, and its special Leadership Challenge program, mainly sponsored by the Hewitt Fund, is proud to offer an additional donation of $42,198.

In total, $260,524 will be donated to more than 350 organizations to help people in need, a new record for the organization: "Once again this year, the Groupe Park Avenue family has shown incomparable generosity in the context of the Centraide campaign. I am extremely proud of our employees' commitment towards our community, but also of the actions taken by our leaders to raise additional funds that enabled us to set this new record. It shows the strength of our organization when we all pull together to achieve a common goal. We are proud to make a difference and contribute to the success of organizations that support our society in different ways," said Norman Hébert, President and CEO of Groupe Park Avenue.

This participation was naturally very well received by Centraide, which greatly needs Quebec businesses like Groupe Park Avenue to achieve its mission. The money raised will help people in need and their communities: “Centraide warmly thanks Groupe Park Avenue’s employees and management. We are very happy to be able to count on their great generosity which will have a positive impact on the community at large. It will enable us to help tens of thousands of persons and families in vulnerable situations. The pandemic has had a disproportionate effect on already vulnerable people. Inequalities have widened. Thanks to the funds collected, community agencies will be able to meet various needs. They will help young people persevere in school, offer healthy food to low-income seniors and families, and establish human contact with people who are isolated or live with mental health issues. All these gestures of support and solidarity will make a big difference in our community”, says Claude Pinard, President and Executive Director of Centraide of Greater Montreal.
