Groupe Park Avenue Appoints Geneviève Lagassé As Director Of Human Resources

Groupe Park Avenue (the Groupe) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Geneviève Lagassé as director of human resources. Geneviève brings more than 20 years of human resources management experience to the job, including 18 years with a major software company, where she was North American head of human resources for nine years. She will report directly to Groupe president and CEO Norman Hébert.

In her new role, and with the support of her team of human resources consultants, Geneviève will put her expertise and wealth of experience to work in redefining the Groupe’s human resources strategies and best practices, including skills development, organizational development, and performance management. She will also support senior management in meeting the challenges of growth and adapting to changing talent management practices and the transformation of the labour market.

“We are very happy to welcome Geneviève to Groupe Park Avenue. Her energy, open-mindedness, and her skill at understanding employee needs and aspirations will make a big difference as we go forward. Her approach, her talent, and her experience will help take our human resources practices up to the next level,” said Norman Hébert.

“I’m really looking forward to this new adventure with Groupe Park Avenue. It’s a remarkable family business that has enjoyed tremendous growth in recent years and clearly has the wind in its sails. While success like this does bring opportunities, it also brings human resources issues that I will do my best to address with other members of the management team,” Geneviève Lagassé said.

Geneviève earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from the Université de Montréal and her master’s degree in management science from HEC Montréal. She is also a member of the Ordre professionnel des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA).
