Mercedes-Benz de Québec : Partner Of The Maurice Tanguay Foundation For The 13th Consecutive Year

Mercedes-Benz de Québec is very pleased to continue its association with the Maurice-Tanguay Foundation for a 13th consecutive year, a partnership that allows the realization of the 2022 Maurice-Tanguay Novoclimat House.

As a member of Groupe Park Avenue, it is natural for Mercedes-Benz de Québec to pursue its involvement with its community by supporting a social cause that is dear to its heart through a $40,000 donation. Mercedes-Benz de Québec is also the official presenter of the Maurice-Tanguay Novoclimat 2022 House draw for a 5th consecutive year. Tickets for the house draw (value of $10 per ticket) will also be offered to the dealership's customers when their vehicle is delivered.

“Just like each of us, children with disabilities are part of our society and it is important to offer them all the special treatments they require. My team and I are very happy to continue our association with the Maurice-Tanguay Foundation. We believe that this is a very generous cause and we are proud to have been part of it for the past 13 years.” says Tommy Caron, Vice President and General Manager of Mercedes-Benz de Québec.

“Like Ameublements Tanguay, Groupe Park Avenue is a proud Québec-based company that strives to be involved with its community on a daily basis. We are therefore very happy to continue our efforts with the Maurice-Tanguay Foundation to give young disabled children a chance to improve their well-being. It is concrete actions such as these that bring relief to special needs children and their families” adds Norman John Hébert, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Groupe Park Avenue.

Last February, the passing of Mr. Tanguay — who originally instigated the partnership — has obviously left a great void. Nevertheless, there was no chance for Groupe Park Avenue to question the precious link between Mercedes-Benz de Québec and the Maurice Tanguay Foundation.

“I look forward to continuing our work with Groupe Park Avenue. Like us, it is a very successful family business that reinvests in the community. This partnership was founded by my father and Norman Hébert, President and CEO of Groupe Park Avenue, and I am honored to carry on the tradition from father to son with Norman John. I would also like to thank the entire team at Mercedes-Benz de Québec for actively participating in this important fundraising activity” said Olivier Tanguay, Executive Director of the Maurice Tanguay Foundation.
